This one bedroom Bach stands on a steep site, and captures breathtaking sea views. The client was after 2 extra bedrooms and a second living, with a modern feel. We decided that the best option for the house, steepness of site and shape was to lift the existing house, rather than build on top of the 50’s construction. The lower level will create a stable support to the existing, and optimise the space created.
